Every System Coordinated By One Team.

ALDA Building Systems delivers fully coordinated mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection and low-voltage systems for commercial, industrial, institutional and residential projects across Ontario.

Our integrated approach brings building systems together before they reach the site. Each discipline is modeled, coordinated and clash-checked in 3D prior to installation, helping reduce conflicts, rework and schedule disruption during construction.

Clients can engage ALDA for a complete building systems package under one contract and one coordinated schedule, or for individual systems and specialized services as required.

Two ways to work with us

The Whole Package, Or Just The Piece You Need.

Some clients hand us every system from scan to closeout. Others need one system or service on a project they're already running. Both get the same team, the same tools and the same standard.

Option 01

Full Systems Package

Mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire safety and low-voltage under one contract. Scanned, modeled, coordinated, installed and closed out by one team.

  • One contract, one schedule
  • 3D coordination included
  • As-builts at closeout

From model to building

Built In The Model First. Then Built For Real.

Every duct, pipe, tray and sprinkler is placed in the model before anyone is on site. What gets installed is what was coordinated.

  1. ModeledEvery system placed in 3D from the design drawings and site scans.
  2. CoordinatedClashes found and resolved with the design team before tender.
  3. BuiltInstalled to the model, then recorded as as-built drawings at closeout.

From our models

Real Coordination Models, From Real Projects.

Every project starts here. Structure, ductwork, piping and risers modeled together, checked for clashes, and resolved before a single hanger goes in.

Drawing coordination

Clashes Get Solved In Our Office Before The Build, Not On Site.

We model the mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire systems in 3D, run clash detection, and issue coordinated drawing packages that trades can install from. Every clash we resolve in our office is rework, wasted material and site time you don't pay for later.

Where A Clash Is Found Decides What It Costs.

The same conflict between a duct and a sprinkler main can be a two-minute fix or a week of rework. The only difference is when someone catches it.

  1. In our model

    Minutes At A Desk

Move a line, re-run the check, reissue the drawing. No material, no site time.

  2. In shop drawings

    A Revision Cycle

Drawings go back for resubmission and approvals slip while trades wait.

  3. During install

    Rework And Standby

Material is cut out and scrapped, crews stand down, and change orders start.

  4. After ceilings close

    Demolition And Delay

Finished work gets opened up, re-inspected and patched, and handover moves back.

Fewer Change Orders

Conflicts are priced out before the contract, not argued about during it.

Less Rework And Waste

Material is ordered and cut once, to a layout that's already been checked.

A Schedule That Holds

Trades install in sequence, inspections pass the first time, and ceilings close on the planned date.

What We Catch Before It Costs You.

Design drawings from separate consultants rarely agree with each other. We model every discipline together, log every conflict, and resolve it with the design team before tender. These are the totals across our team's coordinated projects.

2,948Clashes identified and resolved
871Clashes found in consultant drawings
$2.1MTotal estimated client savings
33Projects coordinated

Where the savings come from

  • $1.87MRework AvoidedClashes priced as the site rework they would have caused if found during installation
  • $230KOther SavingsChange orders, consultant fees and schedule time avoided by resolving conflicts before tender

How we estimate savings. Rework is priced as the labour, material, demolition and re-inspection a clash would have caused if found during installation. Change orders are counted only where a conflict would have become a paid change. Schedule savings use days recovered multiplied by actual daily site costs. Consultant fees avoided cover the additional-service charges for bringing engineers and architects back to redesign, answer RFIs, revise and reissue drawings, and attend site reviews. We use conservative rates and never count design-stage fixes the consultant would have made anyway.

Investigative services

We Look Before We Cut Or Dig.

Existing buildings and sites hide things. Before we price or open anything up, we locate, scan and document what's already there, so the number you get reflects the building you actually have. Every service is available on its own.

How we work

From Drawings To Closeout.

A set sequence, with every clash solved before anyone is on site.

  1. Review

We read the drawings and specs, walk the site, and flag gaps before we price.

  2. Price

One price for every system, with clear inclusions and exclusions.

  3. Coordinate

We model every system in 3D, run clash detection and issue coordinated drawings before install.

  4. Install

Every system installs to one schedule, run by one ALDA project lead.

  5. Close Out

Testing, commissioning, as-built drawings and warranties, handed over as one package.

One Contract

One agreement for the whole systems scope, instead of four or five subcontracts.

One Point Of Contact

Questions, RFIs and change orders go to one person who knows every system on the job.

One Schedule

No trade waits on another, and inspections line up.

Who we work with

Built For The People Who Design, Build And Run Projects.

We bid systems packages to contractors, work directly for business owners and homeowners, and give design teams the site information and coordination they need.

General Contractors

A single-source MEP and site package that shortens your sub list.

Developers

Pricing early in design, then delivery that holds to it.

Property Managers

Upgrades, fit-outs and replacements with minimal tenant disruption.

Business Owners

Commercial, industrial and institutional spaces, handled end to end.

Homeowners

Custom homes, additions and major renovations, with every system planned before the walls close.

Architects & Designers

Laser scans, as-builts and existing-conditions surveys to design from, plus systems pricing during design.

Engineers

Hydrant flow tests, field verification and coordinated drawings that turn your design into an installable layout.

About ALDA

Built To Close The Gaps Between The Trades.

On most projects, the systems inside a building are bought as separate contracts. Mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection each arrive with their own drawings, their own schedule and their own claim on the ceiling space. The gaps between those contracts are where most rework, change orders and delays come from.

ALDA Building Systems was started to close those gaps. We bring every system under one scope, coordinate it in 3D in our office, and manage the installation from start to finish. One team is responsible for how the systems fit together, from the first site scan to the final as-built drawing.

We're a coordination-first company. We investigate before we price, model before we build, and document what we install. Owners get a building they understand. Contractors get a scope they can rely on.

  • Look First. Scan, locate and inspect before anything is priced or opened up.
  • Solve It On Paper. Clashes are resolved in the model, not on site.
  • Leave A Record. Every job closes out with drawings of what's actually there.
